Inspired by the movements and colors of the natural world and the deep connection that exists between humans, animals, and all of life, 24-year-old experimental singer-songwriter Simon Davis and his band explore honest, introspective lyrics through live musical conversation rooted in free jazz, pop, ambient music, and imaginative play. Weaving in sonic textures that echo rustling leaves, flowing rivers, and birdsong, there is a subtle call within Simon’s music that encourages one to run toward what the heart is asking for. The tether that keeps this band together is the desire for truth, and the curiosity to discover the treasure that is the universe within. Simon draws inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver, Novo Amor, Coldplay, Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel, Iron & Wine, The 1975, Adrianne Lenker, S. Carey, Alexander Panos, Owl City, and Sigur Rós.

Growing up in Long Island, New York, Simon began playing drums and acting from an early age. He shifted his focus to sports in his teenage years, but a serious head injury in high school brought him back to his artistic roots. He poured himself into singing and musical theatre, rediscovering the joy of performance and songwriting. Simon’s upcoming debut album (2026) seeks to provide an environment for people to come up for air.
